~ Community Education Program ~

In addition, our Community Education Program provides education and training to people who have the best intentions for their horse(s), but lack the knowledge and experience to properly care for them.

Horses At Heart understands, that in some instances, horses are not adequately cared for due to lack of education on the owners behalf.  Our staff has numerous resources and many years of experience which allow us to provide sound education on proper horse care.  In addition, we have ourselves rehabilitated many horses from injury and/or neglect.  This expertise is invaluable and we are eager to pass it on to any horse owner who is interested.

It is our hope that the majority of our services will help people who have the best intentions and love their horses, but need further education so that these horses can remain in their homes.

acekissHorses At Heart will spread the word about the education services we offer in the following ways:

  • Our website will contain information and numerous links on proper horse care
  • Through various marketing materials (brochures, flyers, posters)
  • Conducting informational seminars
  • Holding training clinics
  • Recommendations from Veterinarians and other professionals in the industry


The Community Education Program will be funded primarily by donations from the community and resources provided by professional organizations such as The Unwanted Horse Coalition to name just one.
