Horses At Heart’s greatest commitment to the equine industry lies in the successful re-homing of horses through our adoption program. We do not discriminate by breed of horse. Every horse deserves a chance.
Our horses come to us in many shapes and sizes and varying conditions of health and well being. We do our best to seek out historical information on each and every horse. Unfortunately we all too often have only our own knowledge and instinct, along with our partners in professional care, to provide an understanding of each and every horse that crosses our paths.
We ask that you, as the potential Adopter, read the information contained in the following documents and make your own determination as to whether or not you are able to make the kind of commitment that caring for a rescued horse requires. If you are, we encourage you to make application for a specific horse we currently have, or to get on our waiting list.
Once we do cross paths with a horse we agree is a good fit for you, we will contact you to let you know a horse is available and schedule a time for you to meet one another.
